The Rappahannock Area YMCA Association is a charitable, non-profit organization serving the city of Fredericksburg as well as the surrounding counties of Stafford and Spotsylvania. Through our two branches, the YMCA positively impacts the lives of more than 23,000 people of all ages, races, religions, and economic backgrounds. In 2008 the association will expand by opening a new facility
in King George County, followed by openings in Caroline County and North Stafford. For more than 30 years, the Rappahannock Area YMCA has provided safe and caring environments, positive role models, creative activities, and opportunities to serve the needs of others.
