Raised in India, Africa, the U.S.A. and Europe, Suzanne Moe (aka SuMoe), brings observation and influence from varied cultures to her profession. She received her BA in Studio Art from Mary Washington College in 1987 and started her own Graphic Design business in 1989. SuMoe embraced the artform of Tattoo in 1997, began smashing & sticking various objects (to create mosaic murals) in 2001, and picked up her first digital video camera in the Fall of 2004 to show & tell a compelling story which resulted in a grassroots activist video documentary, "A Love Story - in The Face of Hate”. In July 2007, the first community mosaic mural in Fredericksburg, VA was unveiled – a creative vision of Suzanne's, and a multicultural celebration of unity through diversity: The MOREart! Community Mosaic Project at Roxbury. SuMoe continues to work in mixed media on a diverse assortment of canvases from her private studios.
